The Weston Park Baptist Church (WPBC) stands just south of the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West intersection. Within its premises stands a modest historic church with surface parking. North across the intersection is a wedge-shaped commercial building, which is also owned by WPBC.
Taking advantage of its prime location, Weston Park Baptist Church has forged a collaborative alliance with Castlepoint Numa to transform the property. They are proposing it be developed into a mixed-use space, preserving the presence of the church on the premises while ushering in a blend of residential and retail functions.
Also known as the "Weston Park Development", the project will integrate two residential towers that will be 28 and 38 storeys. The development also incorporates a selection of affordable housing units, further enriching the community fabric. Expanded facilities for the Weston Park Baptist Church and ground-level retail establishments will be included in its development, propelling the site towards a dynamic and harmonious evolution.
